““I moonlighted as a DJ early in my career, so I put together a program that would be like a dance-music mixtape of classical selections. All of the pieces were written in the past few decades and touch on the more primal aspects of human nature. I wanted to create a concert that was more visceral and felt more in your body, less in your head.”
